A huge thank you to everyone who competed in the Foxtail Men's Golf Club Championship Qualifier (7/25 & 7/26)! With 44 players in the field, it was our largest turnout for an individual event this season—a great sign of the excitement surrounding this year's championship.

Redwoods Flight
John Lewis came out firing, posting a stellar Net 69 in Round 1 before following it up with an even-par Net 72 on Sunday to earn the #1 seed. Joining John in the Championship Match Play bracket are Joe Starnes, Steve Markoff, and Barry Richter, who all played steady golf over 36 holes to punch their tickets to Match Play.

Willows Flight
The Willows Flight featured plenty of drama from start to finish. Justin Gagnon and Tom Ortega shared the first-round lead after matching Net 68s, but Justin left no doubt on Sunday, backing it up with a Net 69 to secure the #1 seed. The race for the remaining Match Play spots came down to the wire. When the final putt dropped, Mike Burgess Jr. claimed the second qualifying spot, while Mark Quintel earned the third. The battle for the fourth and final berth couldn't have been any closer, as Austin Riggs and Tom Ortega finished tied, forcing a scorecard playoff. Austin earned the final Match Play spot by winning the tiebreaker with the stronger second-round score.

Championship Flight
The Championship Flight lived up to the hype, with Adam Ching, Jake Elliott, Russell Davies-Silva, and Peter Koutsoukos separating themselves from the field by all posting rounds in the 70s on Saturday. Grouped together in the final pairing on Sunday, the four contenders battled head-to-head for Match Play seeding in one of the weekend's most exciting showdowns. When the final scores were posted, just four strokes separated the quartet after 36 holes. Russell Davies-Silva and Adam Ching finished tied for the #1 seed, with Russell claiming the top spot by winning the scorecard playoff after firing a Gross 76 in Sunday's final round. Jake Elliott and Peter Koutsoukos secured the remaining Match Play berths, capping off a tightly contested Championship Flight.
